Delta High School Robotics Team Visit

On September 26th, we had four girls from Delta High School visit Cal Poly to learn more about engineering disciplines and to begin a new mentorship program. We started by meeting them at Woodstock's for lunch and followed with a tour from Engineering Ambassadors where we explored labs and all of the engineering majors. Robotics Outreach will start mentoring the young women who have recently started a competitive VEX Robotics team at their school in Santa Maria. These seniors, although graduating soon, are very excited to build their robot and learn how to code. With the help of the VEX Volunteer Team, we are looking forward to continuing to meet with the students and help them become amazing engineers!
