Cal Poly SLO SWENext Virtual Meet Up

On Tuesday, April 28th, 11 SWENexters and 1 parent, educator, and supporter (PEP) joined CPSWE along with 3 CPSWE Alumni for the first Cal Poly SLO SWENExt Virtual Meet-up via a zoom meeting. The event was geared towards current and potential SWENexters. During the event, students learned about the SWENext program, Cal Poly, CPSWE, and participated in several icebreakers to get to know their fellow SWENexters and CPSWE mentors. Participants also tested their Cal Poly and SWE knowledge through a Kahoot Trivia game and learned about opportunities in SWENext through CPSWENext bingo. Between activities, CPSWE members and alumni answered questions about life at Cal Poly, opportunities in SWE, and how to be more involved as a SWENexter.
